While the base engine of the Acura MDX offers a more powerful output than the base 2.0-liter turbocharged engine in the Volvo XC90, it only offers two engine options to the three available from the Volvo SUV. The Volvo offers three engine options to choose from: a 2.0-liter turbocharged choice, a 2.0-liter turbocharged and supercharged option or the hybrid selection. The Acura offers only one and it can't match the output of the turbocharged and supercharged option from the XC60. Want to lengthen those trips in between gas pumps?
